eugene oregon wedding photographer

Are you searching for the perfect photographer for your Eugene, Oregon wedding?

Glen Johnson is a professional wedding photographer with a unique blend of photojournalism and bold portrait styles. This style, called Portrait Journalism, has evolved into the most desired form of wedding photography because it creates a
collection of images with a combination of dramatic creative portraits of the Bride and Groom, and a large selection of
shots that are natural and spontaneous - capturing your family and friends in a way that minimizes the posed look
and the awkward interruptions throughout the day.

Over the past nine years, Glen has shot hundreds of weddings in the US, and over 40 destination weddings in countries outside the US.
This experience is priceless when it comes to capturing the natural, un-posed story of a wedding as it unfolds.

In 2006 the publisher John Wiley and Sons asked Glen to put this experience down in a book, and this book has quickly become the most popular book on the topic of digital wedding photography. You can find the finished product, titled: Digital Wedding Photography, on the shelves at any major bookstore in the US or on the Internet.

If you're looking for exceptional wedding photography, we hope you take some time to browse through the slideshow links above where you'll find hundreds and hundreds of pictures. This should give you an excellent view into the type of images Glen creates. And the creativity you find there will attest to the fact that Glen has no set formula for wedding photograhy and no limits on what a wedding photograph can be. Every wedding is unique - the pictures should be too.

Custom Wedding and Engagement Rings Eugene Oregon
As you may know from the blog, Amelie and I are engaged now. But before I popped the question I had to have a ring of course. Amelie and I searched for weeks all over Oregon and Greece without finding anything that really jumped out at us. Then I met Gary Dawson of Goldworks down on 169 E. Broadway (near Zenon's) and he specializes in creating custom jewelry. We sat down and worked out ideas to create a ring that is one-of-a-kind and it is even more special to me and Amelie just because I had so much control over every little detail in the design. I had the most wonderful time desigining and creating this perfect engagement ring with Gary and I would like to HIGHLY reccomend him. It came out perfect and I can't reccomend Gary enough. He is a very gifted artist and he's also just a great guy.
Check out the slideshow I made about the custom wedding ring creation process. It shows a lot of the physical making of the ring but I didn't get anything about the two hours I spent sitting with Gary and brainstorming about my version of the perfect ring and picking out just the right stones to go in it.

What Brides have to say.....

Glen,

We received the wedding photos a couple days ago and are truly ecstatic with them. From past brides, and looking over your website, we knew that they would turn out good; however they have far surpassed our expectations. There is something so special when you actually get to see your self as the "bride & groom." The images that you captured have are a priceless gift, one that we both will cherish for many years to come.

While we panicked that we ran out of time to do all of the group photos, your photo-journalistic style captured our wedding party and family as they really are. Showing their many emotions from tears to laughter, something that takes a special photographer to capture. Words can't express how much we appreciate you being apart of our wedding, and giving us the best wedding gift of all...your talent.

Our advice to future brides: Don't shy away because of the cost of Glen's work. You won't remember what the cake tasted like, nor what wine you served. Your photographs are what lasts a lifetime...and Glen's work is worth the memories that you will continue to cherish for many years.

Thank you Glen for all of your hard work on our wedding day!

Sincerely,

Miklyn & Josh Perdue
