The Eugene Country Inn, often called the Coburg Country Inn due to it's proximity to the town of Coburg, is an gorgeous wedding facility with indoor and outdoor space for large events. This is a medium sized facility is conveniently located about a 5 minute drive from the center of Eugene. There are two parts to the facility which allows the Eugene Country Inn to host two weddings at the same time. And both sides have large indoor accomodations in case it rains - which of course it does here in Oregon.

 

There is no travel fee to this location.

 

Associate Photographer Packages
These packages are NOT shot by Glen

These packages are photographed by our excellent staff of associate photographers. These are photographers that Glen has worked with personally. Glen matches you to a photographer based on the style and personality types you request. Then you get to meet with Glen AND the actual photographer that will shoot your wedding. All images you view at the interview are shot by that particular associate photographer.

The Young Guns Package $750
This package allows you to save a considerable amount of money while also providing an opportunity for our newer photographers to get some much needed experience at shooting events completely on their own.
• Up to 10 hours of on-site photography. **

The Mid-Week Package   $900    (Monday - Thursday only)
• Up to 6 hours of on-site photography. **
• All images on DVD with Home Use Rights. ***

The Half-Day Package   $1000
• Up to 4 hours of on-site photography. **

The Full-Day Package   $2000
• Up to 10 hours of on-site photography. **

All original files are shot in RAW format, then back in the office we spend hours individually color correcting each image - adjusting the brightness/darkness and color balance as necessary to bring out the absolute best in every shot we take.

We're All Digital: Glen creates his unique wedding images with Canon Professional Digital Cameras and lenses. He currently shoots with Canon 5D camera bodies. Glen shoots everything in RAW format for the high quality and extreme flexibility of exposure these files allow. Once we get the images back in the office, we spend hours color correcting each and every image in your set - adjusting the brightness/darkness and color balance as necessary to bring out the absolute best in every shot we take. For your final disks we convert the RAW files to JPEG files unless you specifically request to receive the RAW files instead.

Eugene / Springfield area wedding locations & Links

Blue Rooster B&B huge barn 5 min south of Eugene in rolling hills. Space for roughly 100 people inside barn. Great summertime location. Barn is very nice but still a bit open to the cold weather as barns always are. Best in warm weather.
Belknap Hot Springs 45 min up in the Cascades from Eugene. River, old growth forest. Rental cabins. Rooms in the hotel to rent. Plenty of space for large or small weddings and can easily accomodate 3 or 4 weddings at the same time with full privacy for each.
The Campbell House Right in downtown near 1st and Pearl (I think). Can only accommodate about 40 max. in the ceremony location.
Chateau Loraine 45 min south of Eugene. Great for large groups up to perhaps 300. Beautiful grounds right on the side of a very beautiful lake.
The Coburg Country Inn 5 min. North of Eugene. Great for large groups. Has two seperate locations that can be used at the same time. Indoor reception location at both sites. Very nice grounds. Lots of Gazebo & Roses type design on the grounds. Visit website.
Eagle Rock Lodge 35 min up the McKenzie River from Eugene. Right along the McKenzie river. Beautiful grounds. Lots of room to set up big tents alongside the river. Very private. You get the whole place for the whole weekend. Extremely beautiful natural looking grounds with some old growth trees. Visit website
Hinman Vinyard 20 min south of Eugene. Any size groups. Can accomodate 100+ indoors. Very beautiful grounds with lots of Vineyards and rolling hills.
McKenzie View B&B just northeast of Springfield. Large house with beautiful property right along the river. Good for groups up to 100.
Odell Lake Lodge 1 hr east of Eugene in Cascades. Beautiful but can be a bit cold in September. Very rustic. Rantal cabins and rooms in the lodge. Lots of space to make your own ceremony location by the lake or in the woods.
Shelter Cove Lodge also located on Odell lake. Same as above but lodge and cabins are a bit more modern and a bit less rustic charm.
Wayfarer Resort 20 min up the Mckenzie River. I think this might be my favorite location for your size group. Plenty of privacy, not too far from town. 6 Rental cabins and a central lodge. Very nice waterfront along the McKenzie river.
Whisper-n-Oaks 20 min towards Monroe on Hwy 99. Surrounded by working wheat farms. Beautiful setting custom designed specifically for weddings. Any size groups. No indoor facilities except dressing rooms for Bride & Groom.

Custom Wedding and Engagement Rings Eugene Oregon
As you may know from the blog, Amelie and I are engaged now. But before I popped the question I had to have a ring of course. Amelie and I searched for weeks all over Oregon and Greece without finding anything that really jumped out at us. Then I met Gary Dawson of Goldworks down on 169 E. Broadway (near Zenon's) and he specializes in creating custom jewelry. We sat down and worked out ideas to create a ring that is one-of-a-kind and it is even more special to me and Amelie just because I had so much control over every little detail in the design. I had the most wonderful time desigining and creating this perfect engagement ring with Gary and I would like to HIGHLY reccomend him. It came out perfect and I can't reccomend Gary enough. He is a very gifted artist and he's also just a great guy.
Check out the slideshow I made about the custom wedding ring creation process. It shows a lot of the physical making of the ring but I didn't get anything about the two hours I spent sitting with Gary and brainstorming about my version of the perfect ring and picking out just the right stones to go in it.
